Although brought up in Athens to where he and his family had migrated in the 1950’s and where he forged a successful business career, Mr Parisis’s heart had remained in Kefalonia where he can trace his roots back to the Venetian rule. In 1997 he made the decision to rebuild his grandmother’s house in which he was born and raised as a child, and one of the original 5 houses of the hamlet of Lavonikes set in 5 acres of land up on a hillside amongst stunning natural surroundings just 8km from beautiful, cosmopolitan Fiskardo.
Preserving what he could from the ruins, Mr Parisis has built a house that would make the most of it’s location overlooking the sea. His eye for aesthetics has continued inside where he has decorated Casa Nobile with some exquisite antique furniture, and outside where over the years he has planted a lush garden with numerous plants, fruit trees and flowers.
